Arizona Middle and High School Athletics
Our Chandler, Arizona, middle and high school athletic programs are among the best in the state. Our coaching staff consists of highly qualified professionals who provide the best opportunity for every student-athlete. The purpose of our sports programs is to provide an educationally safe and sound program that emphasizes participation, cooperation, healthy sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and a competitive edge for all our athletes.
We are especially proud of our highly regarded reputation throughout Chandler, AZ, and the entire state of Arizona. A reputation based not only on wins and losses but on the way our teams and team members conduct themselves on and off the field.
Our Arizona middle and high school athletics are based on consistency, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and enthusiasm. We embody these characteristics by holding our athletes to a higher standard and focusing on character development, which brings credit to our families, the program, and schools simultaneously. Athletic pride is essential to all members of our AZ Compass Prep community.
AZ Compass Prep School participates in the CAA (Charter Athletic Association) as well as National Level Competitive Sports. Class schedules are structured to allow students to practice daily as a part of the standard school day and students are supported by an Academic Dean that connects student athletes to post-graduate athletic opportunities at the university level.

College Planning
If you want to play NCAA sports at a Division I or II school, you need to register for a Certification Account with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Students who are not sure which division they want to compete in can create a Profile Page and transition to a Certification Account if they decide to play Division I or II sports. In order to practice, play, and receive an athletic scholarship, students need to meet certain academic benchmarks. The NCAA needs to ensure students meet all requirements in order to practice, compete, and receive athletic aid.
The NCAA Eligibility Center works with you and your high school to help you prepare for life as a student-athlete. If you have questions about your eligibility or the registration process, please visit ncaa.org or call toll free at 1-877-262-1492. International students should call 317-917-6222.
Below is a list of items we recommend you have before beginning your registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center:
- Valid email address the student checks frequently and will have access to after high school.
- Basic education history, including a list of all high schools or secondary schools you have attended and the dates during which you attended them.
- Sports participation history (Certification Accounts only), including details about any teams with which you have practiced or played or events in which you participated, as well as information about any individuals that have advised you or marketed your skills.
- Payment (Certification Accounts only). The registration fee is $90 for students from the United States and its territories, and Canada. The registration fee is $150 for students from all other countries. You must pay online by debit, credit card, or e-check. Some students may be eligible for a fee waiver.
