This project has been in the making for the last two months and it’s finally come to fruition! Fiesta Bowl Working hand-in-hand with the Salt River Project (SRP), KABOOM! and more than 100 volunteers over a three-day period, the build resulted in a brand-new 2,500 square foot playground for current and future AZ Compass Prep students and community members. A total of 430 K-12th graders will benefit from the build, along with Chandler residents who will be able to utilize the space for community events and sports tournaments.

This is Fiesta Bowl’s 14th build in the community and the number will continue to grow. “We are so excited to see the faces of the students when they see the play space finished,” said Swen Anderson, Skyline Education President. “We know they will be thrilled with their new play space and see their design ideas incorporated.” This build benefits the children at AZ Compass Prep, as the project aims to inspire them to achieve great things in the future. The new play space will support community building initiatives by demonstrating firsthand what can be accomplished when communities come together.

We are so grateful to all of our families, parents and community members who came out to volunteer and help build our playground. This wouldn’t of been possible without any of our families.
