NYLF: Engineering & Technology

One of your very own students, Mr. Lakota Kinlicheenie was nominated to attend the 2019 National Youth Leadership Forum for Engineering and Technology. He was nominated by his high school math teacher, Mr. Vince Nguyen. Lakota will be involved in a college level Capstone Impact Challenge held at the University of California, Berkeley this coming summer.

The Forum will take place in the course of 8 days. Through NYLF Engineering, they will learn the overarching principles, including the design thinking process and other key concepts that can be applied across a variety of engineering disciplines. They will explore a vast and exciting array of engineering professions. With access to cutting-edge labs and facilities, apply your newfound skills to assist with achieving some of the Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations.
