Sophomore, Sandraque Nganga talks NBA dreams.

The 6-foot-10 Nganga is currently in the Class of 2022 at AZ Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona and participates in the Boys National Basketball team. He recently added a Kansas offer to go along with offers from Arizona State, Arizona and other interested universities like Kentucky who’ve expressed interest in Nganga.

Right now, he’s focusing on finishing up school work. During the pandemic, Nganga said he’s able to work out and gets “some shots up sometimes.” As he looks to improve in the coming years. Nganga counts former Maryland forward Bruno Fernando as a mentor. Fernando, now with the Atlanta Hawks, is the only Angolan player in the NBA.
