Nene joins the Lady Dragon program for the 2022-2023 season from Saly, Senegal where she built the foundation for her game that will bring AZ Compass to a new level this year. At 6’1, and a member of the 2023 class, Nene is an all-around player that can make shots from the perimeter, use her length to rebound/alter shots, and can create plays for her teammates off the bounce. Nene is also efficient in the post, making her a difficult matchup for opponents of the Lady Dragons. Nene is a great student in the classroom, leading by example both on and off the floor. Nene is joining the Dragons this season with hopes to graduate and continue her basketball career at the collegiate level. For AZ Compass, this was a big addition that will pay dividends throughout the season in our wins!
