Saniyah is moving into her 2^nd season as a member of the Dragon Family as a true Phoenix, AZ native transferring in last season from South Mountain High School. Saniyah is a high-level academic student that is striving to continue her athletic career as well as her education at the next level following this season with Dragons. As a member of the 2023 class, Saniyah brings size and length to our front court at 6’1 with a wingspan of 6’3. Saniyah is an elite on-ball defender, as well as uses her rebounding strengths to control the paint on both ends of the floor for the Dragons. As a returner, Saniyah is in a true leadership role as well for AZ Compass this season, as she has been in the midst of difficult games throughout her career here. Saniyah leads by example both in the classroom and on the floor, making her a vital part of the success the Dragons have this year.
